FILMED ON: ARRI Amira with Angénieux EZ 1 & 2 Zoom Lenses
Working alongside Acadia, we set out to prove that Maggiano’s takeout isn’t just convenience, it’s a craft. The challenge was condensing that premium, restaurant-quality experience into two tight 15-second spots without losing the heart of the brand.
The Creative: We developed a split-screen concept that visually bridges the gap between the chef’s prep station and the customer's chaotic life. To emphasize the human touch, we didn't want the split to be a barrier. We engineered moments where the chef physically breaks the frame, reaching across the divide to add a finishing touch to the meal before delivery.
The Execution: Making that interaction feel real required more than just standard editing. We utilized blue screen compositing paired with a custom-fabricated tabletop to merge the kitchen and lifestyle footage seamlessly.
The Finish: We rounded out the edit with immersive sound design, highlighting the sizzle of the pan and the clink of utensils and a rich color grade. The result is a campaign that feels warm, polished, and proves Maggiano’s is the thoughtful solution for life’s busiest moments.
