FILMED ON: ARRI Alexa 35 and Cooke SP3 Prime
A classic pancake breakfast is the great uniter. To celebrate the Perkins Great American Trio, we needed to show that whether you’re a construction worker fueling up for a 7 AM shift or a college student grabbing a late brunch, this meal fits every moment.
Visual Strategy: We anchored the campaign with a dynamic, locked-off shot centered perfectly on the plate. While the meal remains the hero, the world around it constantly transforms. Wardrobes shift from hi-vis vests to hoodies, coffee turns into iced lattes, and the diners rotate through a seamless visual time-lapse.
Food-First Storytelling: By intentionally cropping the talent mid-shoulder, we used the elements of hands, clothing, and props as rich narrative texture. This allowed us to tell a highly relatable story without ever pulling the viewer's focus away from the mouthwatering food.
Deliverables: A standout 30-second broadcast commercial, accompanied by natively tailored 15-second and 6-second cutdowns for digital and social distribution.
